01/02/2005 I am flying home tonight so dropped into the airport to check my bags in and then took another two buses to get back to Manukau City. Walked all the way down Great South Road through Manurewa, Takinini, Papakura and then on to Drury which is the last stop on the suburban bus route. I really don‚t like road walking but it is good to get it done and it leaves an easy day down to Mercer when I return on the 5th. Three buses later I was back at the airport to get caught up in the hassles of Wellington airport being closed due to fog. Ended up heading to bed in Auckland, will try again tomorrow.
